The installation is a mechanical kaleidoscope driven by a stepper motor and Arduino Mega.
At the heart of the kaleidoscope are stones from the glass beach of Vladivostok, the body is modeled and 3D printed.

Using the light transmitted through the kaleidoscope and a focusing lens, the output is projected of what can usually be seen when looking through the opening.
