The work is the result of studying the connection between digital and physical environments through the language of movement of urban landscapes: objects and infrastructures.

Using trekking systems as well as digital and artistic methods, the movement of harbor cranes is interpreted by means of a code into the trajectory of the KUKA KR-16 robotic system.

The addressable LED strip installed on the robot acts like a brush and allows post-processing to fix the temporal pattern left by the light like a long exposure effect.

By extrapolating data from the urban environment, the performance reflects the day-to-day dynamics of a port city. The robot acts as a translator that reproduces movements from the outside world into an automated mechanical score.
