Anastasia Egorova

Anastasia Egorova is an artist working in the areas of generative and media art. She experiments with interactive, kinetic installations and performative practices.

Within the “4Ж” (“4ZH”) art group, the artist implemented the Here We Go performance, which attracted attention to one of the sharpest problems of the city: discrimination of pedestrians due to the underdeveloped infrastructure. The action went viral and got multiple mentions in various media and publications. Later on, this performance was included in the longlist of Sergey Kurekhin’s Award, 2018, in nomination of “The Art in Public Space”. In 2019, Anastasia participated in the group exhibition in Artservatory, contemporary art center in Khabarovsk, as well as in the digital art exhibition called “From Deconstruction to Reorganization” at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) Ayaks, Vladivostok. Besidesn that, Anastasia Egorova took part in the Technological Art Festival “PUSK”, Vladivostok in 2016 – 2018 with her projects “Light Infinity of the Future” and “Information Forest”.

Anastasia Egorova got a BA degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, which formed her spatial and visual thinking. Pursuing a MA degree in Digital Art at FEFU from 2018 to 2020 has allowed her to look at her creative activity from a different angle.
